UPS Emergency Service

PSS is available 24 x 7 to provide emergency repair service of your UPS system. We will bring your system back on-line, by making the necessary repairs, to restore your critical power infrastructure in the quickest time frame possible.

Infrared Surveys

There are times when critical systems cannot be taken off line to have routine maintenance performed on them. An Infrared survey is the only way to get an idea of the status of the system. By implementing a thermographic program, our customers can be shown potential problems within their critical systems while the systems are on line. These potential problems can then be corrected during a scheduled maintenance before the problems take down critical systems due to a catastrophic failure.

Acceptance

Testing

Whether you are installing a new battery string or a new UPS system, we can perform the acceptance testing to insure that your system meets the manufactures and engineer’s design requirements.

Power Quality Testing

Site surveys can be performed to determine if the facility is experiencing the effects of outages, brown-outs, dips, spikes and sags to their critical loads. Based on these findings, PSS can make recommendations on corrective action to insure that your critical power infrastructure is operating at the optimum level possible.

Turn Key Project Management

PSS has provided turnkey projects for new UPS systems and upgrade of existing UPS systems. Need to change out a battery system? Power Systems Specialists can provide a complete turnkey package with the batteries, racks, spill containment with installation and commissioning.

Battery Installation and Certification

PSS performs numerous battery installations of flooded wet cell and sealed VLRA battery systems. We also provide certification of battery systems installed by others. PSS is a certified C&D Battery Installer.
