PSS is the Authorized Service Representative for Toshiba in the greater New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut area. Toshiba's UPS systems have the best warranty in the industry but all UPS systems still need to have preventive maintenance performed on them in order for your system to operate at the highest level of reliability. Power Systems Specialists can provide this service for your system. We have the expertise and training to service all of Toshiba's UPS systems. PSS can service the 1600EP and 1600XP, 4200FA, 4300, G8000, G8000MM, and the G9000 UPS systems. PSS can also provide service on the older 1400SE and 4100 UPS modules. During a Preventive Maintenance Visit, our service technicians will perform the following items: • Visually inspect UPS physical condition. • Check and record battery charger for proper charge rate. • Take voltage readings on the input and output. • Visually inspect UPS electrical wiring for signs of overheating and insulation break down. • Inspect air filters for plugging and deterioration, replace if required. • Take current readings on the input and output. • Review event log. • Adjust for proper output voltage. • On parallel systems verify proper load sharing between UPS modules. • Check proper operation of leds and lamps. • Check internal power supplies • Inspect cabinet fans for proper operation. • Verify metering display is accurate. • Record event memories.
